6 Sessions: 1 hour 45mins+ per session. (The starting date is to be confirmed after you have enrolled.)

Course and Tools Requirement: English language proficiency. Tailor L-ruler, tailor curve ruler, straight ruler (preferably 18-20 inches), drafting paper and fabric for baste fitting. Further information on tools will be provided before the commencement of the course.

Course Overview:

1. Measurement System and development of flat-front panel.

2. Development of front panel with pleats (and/or darts).

   Development of trousers back panel.

3. Course Assessment for front & back trousers panel development.

   Individual pattern review and refinement.

4. Laying drafts on fabric and fabric length calculation.

   Cutting & marking for prototype build.

5. Prototype making for live fitting.

6. Live fitting and identifying issues.

   Revisit course content and Q&A.

Course Objectives:

• At the end of the course, you can develop trousers draft for the standard male body type.

• Post-course consultation support will be provided.

• Fashion graduates, apprentices or business owners in the tailoring trade
• A basic competency in sewing is required
