It also has appropriate strength and elasticity, fits the fabric well and doesn't hurt even the most lightweight of fabrics.It is engineered as the perfect thread for making hand made buttonholes with and other tailoring techniques.
Our 100% silk threads are from Tire by Fujix, Japan and come in 200m spools.
